Our story
We're in the smile business.
Yay Goods sells small, cheerful things: the mug that makes Monday less Monday, the socks that start a conversation, the tiny desk buddy that just sits there being cute.
We think happiness is mostly made of little moments, so that's what we sell.
Why we started
I grew up in the countryside, and I was a happy kid. Not because we had much. Ten cents bought a handful of candy, and I'd share it with my little brothers and sisters. Watching them enjoy every piece made me happier than eating it myself.
These days, gifts keep getting bigger, shinier and more expensive. But happiness was never something you could simply buy.
What I learned back then still holds true: a small gift, chosen with care, can make someone's whole day. That's why Yay Goods exists. Everything here is little, thoughtful, and made for sharing.
I hope opening a Yay box feels the way that handful of candy felt to us.
What we believe
-
Small things count
A good mug or a silly sticker can turn a whole day around. We take tiny joys seriously.
-
Every box says hi
Each order ships with a Little Yay Note, because opening a package should feel like getting a letter from a friend.
-
Not happy? We're not done
Our Happiness Guarantee gives you 30 days to send anything back, with return shipping on us.
-
Spread it around
Buy one, spread one: every order helps donate a meal through a local food bank.
How we pick products
We call it the Grin Test. Every item in the shop had to pass all four.
-
It made us smile out loud
Every product has to pass the Grin Test. If nobody on the team grinned, it doesn't go in the shop.
-
It's good enough to gift
Would we be proud to hand it to a friend? If not, it's out.
-
It's priced for everyday joy
A little happiness shouldn't need a special occasion or a big budget.
-
It survives the trip
We check how things pack and ship, so they arrive in one piece and ready to make someone's day.
Tucked in every box
Little Yay Notes
Each package gets a note with a kind word or a very bad joke. Customers keep them on the fridge. Pull one to see what you'd get.
You're doing better than you think. Seriously.
Why did the scarecrow win an award? He was outstanding in his field.
Your weird is somebody's favorite thing.
Permission granted to take the long way home.
